Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood
Publication Date: 23 August 2022

“It is a truth universally acknowledged that a community of women trying to mind their own business must be in want of a random man’s opinion.” – Bee Königswasser
If Ali Hazelwood was worried about following up The Love Hypothesis, the must-read book that was on everyone’s TBR last year, she needn’t have been concerned one bit, because Love on the Brain is stellar! In this second full-length STEMinist novel, we meet Bee and Levi in a delightful enemies-to-lovers romp through the halls of NASA’s Johnson Space Center. These two former grad school rivals are now forced together to design a new helmet for the astronauts in the space program.
Bee might just be my favorite STEMinist heroine yet. She’s a stunningly brilliant neuroscientist, she’s obsessed with Marie Curie, and she’s a purple-haired, pint-sized lady boss. Levi is the tall, brooding, nerdy guy with piercing green eyes who may just be my new favorite book boyfriend. If you’re looking for a rom-com that’s a little quirky, steamier than expected, full of nerdiness and a good deal of longing and pining with a little bit of a You’ve Got Mail twist, all presented in Hazelwood’s accessible and engaging writing style, then you definitely need Love on the Brain in your life. Also, be prepared to Google the chapter titles.
