Beyond Any Experience by Anne E. Terpstra
Out now from NineStar Press

Do not think you’ll be able to read this sapphic romance in small bits here and there. Clear your schedule before you start it because it will grab you by the heart and force you to stay up all night finishing it. In Beyond Any Experience, Anne E. Terpstra gives us beautiful characters that I still find myself thinking about long after finishing the book. She does a phenomenal job of bringing them to life, with all of their flaws and fears, loves and losses, dreams and nightmares. The story is emotionally difficult at times, but it’s so worth it. Be sure you have a box of tissues next to you because you will definitely need at least a few.
This book combines a lot of really solid elements. It’s a lesbian romance with lots of steam and lots of heart, but it also shows us the pain that results from the sudden loss of a partner, as Olivia helps her autistic son through his grief while still being overwhelmed by your own. When Olivia meets Elle, the attraction she thought she would never experience again is instant, and that scares her. It’s a well-done age gap story that I particularly enjoyed as a more “mature” person. 😁
I have done a few tours with Pride Book Tours this year, and this debut novel from Terpstra is by far my favorite. I will definitely be checking out anything this author puts out in the future. Oh, and I can’t finish this review without mentioning the absolutely STUNNING cover art by Jaycee DeLorenzo. 😍
Thank you to the author and to Pride Book Tours for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
