Best of 2022: Number Nine

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin

I’m not a gamer, nor am I a particularly huge fan of historical fiction, but when I saw this listed on NetGalley there was just something about it that told me I was going to love it. And I did.

This story is everything. It’s absorbing and breathtaking and thoroughly engrossing. It’s a book that can’t be rushed through; you need to take your time to really take in all of the history and the complex relationships that are at the core of this story. And trust me, you don’t need a vast knowledge of gaming to enjoy it. Highly recommended for the historical fiction and lit fic crowd.
