Best of 2022: Number Five

Delilah Green Doesn’t Care by Ashley Herring Blake

I read this way back in January, and in my review I said that this would be a strong contender for best of the year. And now here we are, and I was right.

I don’t even know what to say about this book that hasn’t been said by those more eloquent than I. Simply put, it’s a perfect sapphic love story with characters so well developed and relatable that they seem like old friends.

I already know this one will be a frequent reread for me. And I have Astrid Parker on my shelf right now and I’m dying to read it but I’ve saved it for a 2023 reading challenge. Boo. 😄
